Lane LaVonne (they/he) is a stage director and artist working in Philadelphia and NYC. They specialize in the development of new plays and adaptation of classics, with Moment Work playing a strong influence in their process. Their work has brought them to Philadelphia Theatre Company, PlayPenn, Passage Theatre Co., and the TANK in NYC. This spring, they're producing and directing a staged reading of Punch Back, by Genevieve Simon, at Studio 34 in Philadelphia. The reading, sponsored in part by Sam’s Morning Glory and Philadelphia’s Illuminate the Arts Grant, will be a part of 2026 Philadelphia Theatre week. After Punch Back, Lane will be assistant directing Same Team at Inis Nua.
